I got news for you boomers…..Tora Tora Tora and Midway used technology and scale models ,too. They obviously didn’t have CGI but them ships and planes weren’t all real.

Actually, I think the people that works in these scenes are very creative. At least on the big screen, it looks so great. I am still amazed with all the scenes from AVATAR, both movies!!!
