bass pro never has any "deals" on firearms. Not even during christmas, hell I think they are overpriced most of the time year around

This was the only intriguing thing I saw, but it's not really a "deal." Just haven't really been in stock most places. Nothing at Bass Pro that would make me want to deal with the crazies

Ugh Bass Pro sucks. Their prices are awful all year and these prices are a joke. That "deal" on the Ruger American for $370? They're on regular sale at adventure outdoors for $299 right now and on several other online websites for $299 and $309 and at Dicks for $340-$350 for regular price. I've all but quit going to bass pro to buy a gun.

Academy's gun sales are going on now. I am picking up a S&W M&P 15-22 Froday for $399.

The 10/22 for $229 isn't terrible. A M&P15 ORC for over a grand is highway robbery though.
