UPDATE: Apparently the phrase “PERMANENT LICENSE" may not be english to the Federal Government. I subsequently read that "Permanent Licenses" may have a round count import limit to the permanent license. This is being investigated by journalists. If there is a ammo limit attached to each Permanent import license, then we are screwed. I mean GOUGED.

In the past, countries subject to these bans circumvent them by repackaging and re-routing the ammo through non-banned countries. The U.S. knows this. But it’s difficult to 'police'.

I'm not going to panic buy. I can wait a year for the price to come back to normal.

For now, the hoarders were right. They get to screw others with over-priced ammo. Congrats to those who had the foresight to overstock up.

For the rest of us, it's just another lousy day. Time to grab a beer and a. bottle of Jack Daniels.
