Auto open knives?

in Georgia your fine but if the blade is over five inches you have to have a permit..... that is what my understanding is but I am no lawyer

I couldn't find any mention of auto knives. Only thing I saw was over 5" blade requires a permit.

Carry whatever you like...GA laws affect blade LENGTH not style etc. Carry a auto, switchblade, stiletto, whatever....

You didnt ask him about gun laws too did you? Most LEO don't know alot of current laws. Not their fault, they just don't know.
