I worked at 72 many years, HVAC controls !!! We install controls now and still work with the local 72 guys. My whole family worked there one time or another and or retired.

they started with plumbing & pipefitting, then went to Service, then Controls
I'm a 33 year retired member - Master Plumber/Medical Gas
That retirement check is sweet
with the retirement check & SS, I'm receiving more than General Foreman pay

72 is the way to go. Go service. I went local 85 for 12 years. Was good for me but 72 is where the $$$$ is.

On the flip side, I have concern not enough young folks are willing to do it. Trades are where it at though!!!!

I love the trades,,,!! when I went to school we had metal arts, welding, wood shop, automotive, I learned a lot. We the people need to bring it back. I also could work at 72 with a journey man at 12 years old during the summer it was amazing.
