Arisaka Type 99 Series 6 Nagoya

I am hoping someone on ODT can shed some knowledge.
I have a Type 99 that is missing parts and may have been modified. Can somebody tell me what all is missing and what may have been modified? I know for sure the bolt is gone lol.
From all the pictures I can find I don’t see one that has the hand guard cut off halfway up the barrel. There is also a redfield rear iron sight mounted.

Also, in the condition it is in what might it be worth?

I’m no pro but from your pictures I’d say you’re missing your mag follower, bolt, dust cover, erase sight, anti aircraft sights, and the stock is sporterized. As far as value I’d put it between 2-300

You are missing a whole lot there. The whole stock is missing it needs the follower the rear sight base and rear sights and the bolt. Given that the bolt is missing and the level of sporterized that has been done I would make sure it has not been rechamberd for a different/ more popular caliber those actions are crazy strong and people have turned them Into all sorts of different chamberings. The front sight is missing so it would need that.

The above value is HIGH it's definitely not worth more then 100 bucks there's nothing really left to part out and it would cost 1200 bucks to bring it back to original configuration assuming it's in it original caliber. Then you would have a 400 dollar rifle. That rear sight is probably worth more then the rest of the rifle.
