I brought this back from Afghanistan in the early 2000s. I am just not real sure what I have or the value. Any insight would be appreciated thanks.

Will it go BANG! I'm pretty sure it's British. Inlays after the fact, not British. Crude repairs. Very nice piece.

I traded into one of these years ago. It came with an inlaid rifle that was over 7 feet long without the bayonet! Great wall hangers-not a tremendous amount of value-but high on the cool/different factor.

I'm no expert, but there is some rough hand filing marks on the metal, and the letters on "TOWER" look wrong (looks like a D and E are over stamped), it's likely a Khyber Pass copy of a British percussion pistol probably not very old but still a cool handmade piece (I wouldn't shoot it)

The hammer does drop when the trigger is pulled. I'd never try and fire it! Some great info already guys thanks.
