I forgot to mention something important about the Coinbase Wallet. Make sure you make and save your 12 word recovery phrase. If/when you get another phone you will need it to gain access to your account.

So to give an update on this I got an automated email reply from Ledger 2 days ago apologizing for the delay in a response from the support team due to a significant increase in support requests. To re-up my support ticket I would need to reply back otherwise my ticket would be closed.
Not super confidence inspiring but a good reminder that the current crypto currency space is very much like the wild west and that you need to be reasonably self sufficient to traverse it.
