ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON HOW TO LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE

While I’m on BP meds, my pressure spikes at times. My M. D. actually recommended
Super Beets, and that has helped.
It helps circulation everywhere.

I’ve been denied the last 3 times on donating blood because my bottom number is TOO HIGH(over 100)
I’m wondering if anyone has any natural remedies to lower blood pressure.. obviously my meds aren’t working anymore.. I’ve put a call into my dr that the meds aren’t doing what they should anymore.. rather than wait on him to get my message I’d rather try something different, along the lines of herbs or what not…
Any suggestions?

Drop weight
Eat WAY more fiber (generally speaking that will be a supplement such as metamucil)
Get more sleep
Walk away from stressors
If it's fast food or fried; try to make a better more healthy choice
Drink 10 oz of water before every meal; flavor packets help
If you EAT salty foods (drink 24 oz of water during the salty meal)
Get into a walking regiment/routine daily
Eat your biggest meals in reverse to the American norm; Breakfast largest, lunch moderate, dinner the smallest
Don't snack as much
Cut out all soft drinks
Try not to eat anything past 7pm in the afternoons
No smoking
Curb alcoholic drinks to moderation
Cut your sweets down to very minimal (once weekly)
Take a morning multivitamin
Make sure your food intake is colorful (seriously, there needs to be at least 4 different colors on your plate - it'll encourage quality vegetables)
Take 10 minutes a day to literally find a quiet area and reflect on the good in your life, the good you can do for yourself, the good you can do for others, how you can slowly change to see better in all aspects of your circle
Laugh and smile more; watch some comedy for at least 30 minutes a week

If you are not already
>Take fish oil
>Take a "COATED" baby aspirin (unless you have bleeding or stomach issues)
> Add cinnamon (as much as you can) to your diet (especially breakfast foods)
> Add cayenne pepper to your diet (especially dinner foods)

Don't look for instant results, wait for at least ONE MONTH to see any change.
