Bringing this back from the dead...
I had some time to do some therapy at my bench tonight, and cleaned up a couple of things that have been waiting FAR too long.
I've also had a chance to order some tools from Brownells' that I've been missing.
Here's what I got done this evening:
The slide is pretty much fit.
Staked the plunger tube on, like that tool.
Installed the ejector and fitted.
Cleaned up the back of the slide.
I wrecked one safety, and filed too much off. Started a new one tonight, but it was being difficult so I elected to stop before making another boat-anchor.
Actually did get a chance to test-fire it (sans thumb-safety), and it worked for last round BHO and the 3 test shots.
Still have to fit the thumb safety, test it and do some tuning, but after that, all that's left is cerakote.
