What about this one? A US made rig using modern webbing and buckles but based on the old chicom design. It is the same guy that made my chest rig that I posted above. Excellent work, but there is normally a pretty long wait time.

Thanks. Just kind of hesitant to get one bc of the whole "you get what you pay for"adage

I was looking at some battle belts on another forum earlier today, and there were a few people giving Condor products some negatives, but there were positives also. And regarding the get what you pay for adage, I should not have called the Chicom rigs cheap - inexpensive is better. I have put mine through quite a few training classes, and they have been solid. The only thing you need to do is add a fastex buckle on the back as they are made to tie, but for $10 - $15, you can't beat them.

I forgot about this guy. He definitely gets solid reviews, but as you mentioned the wait times are slow since he makes to order.

Any suggestions for a AR rig for my wife. Something on the smaller side but still hold 4-6 mags.
