Looking for feedback on what to expect at an Action Pistol match @ River Bend. I have never attended an event at River Bend or Action Pistol. Appreciate any feedback. It was recommended to me on a recent tour of RBGC as a good place to start to meet other members. Appreciate any feedback.

I can’t speak to Action Pistol, but there is always a bunch of nice people at the Steel Challenges. Plenty of down time to chat and meet people as well.

Action Pistol is a great place to meet folks. Just go and expect to learn how to shoot in a match and ask questions. Shoot in the match just for the fun of it until you get the hang of it and come back next month to win it.

Easy going bunch of gun guys that will help any way they can.

It's an extremely new shooter friendly match. It's the match I've always either taken new shooters to or recommended they try a few times before jumping into something like USPSA.

It’s a great match and very friendly crew of folks. Very newbie friendly. Many of us got our start shooting that match.

The matches are much more user friendly than a sanctioned match like GSSF or USPSA/IPSC matches. Perfect for a beginner, learn from the ones that have been doing it, or give them a few pointers.
