67 CJ5 Brake master cylinder mounting bolts?

I am wondering if anyone knows what size bolt and threads I need for a 67 CJ5 with a single Reservoir brake master cylinder to mount it.

I know that it is aprox a 3" bolt and there are two of them.

I looked some on line and did not find any for it.

A simple run to any well supplied hardware store should do it.
Probably around 3/8"... grade 5 or better

If you have a local Ace Hardware store should have them, as my local store has any size you need!

I have one close to me just was wondering the threads and size before I bought a hand full just to try out

Take the master cylinder with you and match up the bolts

the master cylinder has no threads the bolts go through the side of it and mount it to the frame the screw holes are actually on a welded piece that does not come off

If you have the nuts that came with it, take one of them to to the store to match up the bolt size and threads on the new bolts.

there is not a nut, it screws directly into the jeep

The holes in the master cylinder will tell you bolt diameter, look at the nuts, they should be coarse thread. That way you can get down to buying about 2 different bolt sizes.

Figured it out, it's 3/8x24
