I remember this unfortunate event. My prayers and thoughts are still with you Bill.
I lost my oldest brother like this…..it aint easy…….And you are right, it takes a heck of a long time for it to get any easier too.

Everyone went through a round of the crud during the holidays. My youngest just graduated from Young Harris.
Didn't have to drag a deer for anyone on Wolfskin-Hutchins road this year.
