We used to go watch races at Laguna from the back of Ft. Ord. That looked like a nasty little cluster F! Prayers for the families.
Did the crash happen coming out of the big sweeping left as you go up the hill before the corkscrew? Hard to tell from the clip.
No. turn one right at the start of the race. Someone clipped a brake lever and then it was a chain reaction for the whole outside rear of the field.
I see now. I had to watch it again. I've read that a rider lost power and raised his arm just before the wreck. Terrible!
Its how Scott Russell almost died at Daytona a few yrs. ago.
I don't see how this doesn't happen more often. Those guys have big brass ones.
