And wouldn't an open carry event there really rub their faces in the smelly stuff

What area are we looking at? Atlanta metro, further north, further south? There are a ton of places to have a nice BBQ, Stone Mtn is a good idea I think most people from at least around ATL could make that, and some other peeps from closer to Athens and north on 85. Might be a bit far for the 75N crowd, i know we have a lot of member up in the Dalton area.

St. Mountain Park, Piedmont Park, there's parks all over we can go to.

Wills park could be an idea. It's central between the east and west, though it would be rough on the south people. there's frisbie golf, basketball hoops, the pool, plenty of room and shade. could set up bags game.

I think stone mountain is out, a pavilion is $450 and it sounds like we would be thrown out if we have a big group in the public picnic area. I guess I'll just figure something out this weekend.
