1911 porn let’s see them

I bought two new Colt's. I went to buy one and a second one also came home. They will go the range tomorrow for testing.

I got the new Colt 70 Series which seems like the older (2011) 'replica' gun. I'll know tomorrow.

I also bought a new Colt 1911 SE which Colt calls a Colt 01911SE-A1.

BTW, all new Colt 1911's are all Model 70. They don't make the Model 80 anymore (it had the extra safety that screwed with the trigger feel). The new ones all have the National Match Barrel. The box has only one magazine.

The real test is tomorrow.
Picked up my new Colt today. Sort of. 🤯🤯

yes....confusing....
These two came from my dad...top is a 1951 .38 super...the bottom is a 1958 .45 National Match...I have no idea if they were original to him. I installed the ivory...original grips are put up.
may have already posted these here....it's just too hard to go back through all the pages!!

I did shoot both of them yesterday (~40 rds each). Everything was good.

Both Colt Series 70 pistols were exactly the same. All of the parts will exchange (magazines, stocks, slide, barrel, springs and guides). The trigger is the same, but I didn't try to swap it. The new one has Ser# 73Bxxxx while the 2011 has #71Bxxxx. 2011:

I thought the new 2023 Colt 1911 was based on the (2011) 01991. I was wrong as it has a few different internal parts. Neither has model numbers that are alike. Both have the same stocks and sights, but the older stocks have a better finish.
