Looks like I'm the odd man out today. U haven't seen anything except a few squirrels.

Same. This is my wife's first time and haven't seen anything. Saw 8 along the roadway driving down to the hunting property.

Saw 3 doe. No buck trailing for 2 hours afterwards.

Daughter-in-law shot her first deer, a small doe.

Was just considering getting down for the morning, then a nice young 6 point wandered by about 5 minutes ago. Biggest deer I've seen all morning, but still too small to shoot. Guess I'm gonna sit here a while longer.

Called in a nice 8 about 0730. He came in snorting looking for a fight and turned behind me and didn't give me a decent shot. 5 trees, 2 bushes between us and he shows me his guts. Seemed he stopped behind several trees and then decided that he didn't like something and was gone. Saw him cross the shooting lane; but no shot. Oh well, at least I know that there is still one on the property.
