Slow morning here so far. Seen 2 does, 2 fawns, 1 small bobcat.
Haven’t seen a thing
Seen a bunch of squirrels and birds. I'm sitting here wondering what a 30-06 will do to a squirrel at 20 yards. Wish some deer would pass through.
Just had a little 3 point and a spike sneak up on me. Hope that's a good sign. The spike was camera shy and stayed in bushes the whole time.
I'm letting the woods settle down and will be back out in the middle of the week.
Slow here this am in stark contrast to yesterday
Had 3 does come through. They got bumped by a buck of some sort. I was watching them through a clean spot in limbs, they left in a hurry and were up wind of me so I know they didn't bust me then the buck came trotting by. Couldn't tell what he was, I only caught a glimpse.
Nephew hunted in the same stand that I hunted yesterday. He saw 6
