Just had a group of 4 does come through browsed on water oak acorns and headed on out into the thicket. Gonna stay put for about 30 more minutes then try again this evening.

Just had a nice tall 8 point come by. Wasn't in a hurry, but only stopped walking twice. Kicking myself now because I had a clean shot, but I hesitated for a couple seconds too long. I should have just pulled the trigger.

Well here goes number 1 first buck at 150 yards she shot in chest. Number 2 shot at about 60yards behind shoulder

Congratulations to all of you who got one this morning. I’m going to make a rather bold move and sit tighter to the saddle crossing on my little food plot. Wind forecast is good currently. Hoping to let the G40 eat this evening. Had a couple decent bucks cruising through.
