    I'm going to remember this, too-- I'm so sick of replacing these darned things. I've learned to buy the three year warrantee though, and tape it on the machine so I don't misplace it. That way you at least get four years from a single purchase (two and two).

    Slightly off topic, but wouldn't it be nice to have a couple of hundred watts of heat that followed you around the house, so you could turn down the thermostat overall, and only heat the rooms people are in, and when they're actually in them? Naw.
