  1. Covid After Affects

Are you talking vertigo? I had a mild case after the shots (had to get them inorder to see the grandbabies ) There are exercises that help re-orient the crystals in your ear that you can find on google. Mine eventually went away but moving from vertical to horizontal always sent me spinning.
  2. Smoking cigarettes

My Dad quit after my Mom died of cancer even though he still worked in the tobacco industry. Just remember that it is not just for you, it is for all the ones you love.
  3. Got Back pain, be sure its Back pain and not kidneys shutting down.

My brother passed out from a kidney stone that he thought was back trouble.
  4. Where to try on different sunglasses for prescription lenses?

Another vote for Zenni. Bought the last 4 pairs of progressive lense glasses which come with matching clip on dark lenses. They also make prescription sunglasses. Very reasonable
  5. Weather related headaches?

Definitely this. These the first thing I think of is I caught COVID but this always seems to work.
  6. Any long term post jab side affects…(serious answers please)

The wife has had ringing in her ears since her second shot and I have similar symptoms plus some vertigo. My shoulder gave out at the gym and I wasn't stressing it. But I am 65 so it is hard to say what is old age and was is vax induced. All this is data and not just anecdotes. Anecdotes are...
  7. Yes Doc, We Should Skip it This Time!

Had a buddy use Colorguard which is a at home test. It checks the stool dna in the sample you collect and send in. It is less accurate than a scope but better than waiting
  8. DO WE SENIORS TAKE THE VACCINE?

I won't be first. My guess is if Trump gets any credit then 1/2 the country will not take it and the other 1/2 will wait and see. If Biden gets credit 1/2 the country will take it and 1/2 will wait and see. I am ok with either!
  9. As you age

I did something similar years ago. A rubberized thigh support to keep it warm and advil really helped. As mentioned above, you do need to move it to help it from freezing up and to help the bruise dissipate. A TENS unit might help too.
  10. Gym Rats and Beefcakes... what supplements do you recommend ?

Maybe you are a better man than me but I always enjoy going to the gym and telling the youngin's just leave the bar loaded so I can warm up and then add more plates. Nothing better than out lifting them. Fyi I am 64 too.
  11. Gym Rats and Beefcakes... what supplements do you recommend ?

I did some creatine when I was younger, (50's) and thought it helped especially with recovery. Some of the gains were not lean so there is that. Some of my lifts went up but I also tweaked my shoulder. I have heard one can get more injuries on creatine. I have one son that works out a lot and...
