  1. Best Tactical Shotgun

All you need is a double barrel.... says the idiot-in-chief Oh and Winchester Defender. Speed Pump. Smooth and fast rotary bolt.
  2. What a 308 does to a steel plate at 300 yards.

Plasma cut mild steel would be my guess. Softer than **** after a cap full of Miralax
  3. CLOSE THIS

I think I hear helicopters! WTF
  4. CLOSE THIS

Maybe I'm tripping but I swear I replied to this thread previously ???
  5. My firearms are all covered in...............

Heavy coat of CLP will prevent that
  6. Ejection port cover

Many years ago I got a great deal on a complete upper 16" bull barrel smooth receiver with no cover and while it's a very accurate and reliable bench shooter, it still affects my OCD and just looks odd.
  7. Smith and wesson prelock error gun possible

Just from your pics it appears to have some minor pitting evidence so I'd say it was media blasted at some point and refinished.
  8. SMITH & WESSON 6”. 357

A Model # would help (located under crane on frame) with a ballpark value but seeing how it's a stainless pre-lock I'll goes $ tree-fiddy but only if you come to me
  9. Taurus Tracker 44mag loads

I owned a 44mag Tracker and while it was a good little revolver, I would never have considered shooting anything hot, or +P though it. I just don't think it's strong enough. Personally I'd just pick up a box of Hornady XTP or Winchester Hollow point. I'd rather have 5 shots (or opportunities)...
  10. The renewed lever action rifle fetish

They're a classic, well proven, and reliable platform available in a variety of calibers that require no additional parts to operate....much like a wheel gun. What's not to like about that? Sometimes it takes a new generation to renew an interest in a certain weapon type or Hollywood movies can...
  11. Tisas 1911 recall notice

Love my Tisas 1911. Got one in 9mm to change things up and have been very impressed with it. Appears as though I'm not affected by this recall. Thanks for getting the word out OP.
  12. Taurus TH45 - the best 45ACP ever....?

    I'm missing the 1911 correlation.
  13. Ruger American Rimfire

Yes they are a fine little 22 rifle at a decent price point. Keep mine loaded with CCI Quiet and suppressor on it. My farts are louder. It is silly quiet...like firing hammer click quiet. I pulled the bolt and checked the bore first time I shot it because I thought I may have had a squib! Its a...
  14. If you want to conceal carry a large frame revolver......................

I love my chest rigs. Works great while seated, can still wear a pack with one and doesn't weigh belt done (mines got a hard enough job just holding britches up) !!
  15. Uncommon threaded weapons?

I don't believe the 77/22 was ever offered threaded from Ruger and it came with a ridiculously long and already heavy barrel so here's one kinda uncommon. It's one of my favorites and it is stupid accurate:
  16. Uncommon threaded weapons?

I'd consider this somewhat uncommon but only due to barrel length. Ruger MK II that I wanted to shoot cheap, bulk ammo through suppressed. It's too short to go supersonic so it stays quiet at a much cheaper cost than CCI Standard.
  17. Gun wall

1X4 firing strips (if needed but every other wall stud at 32" is perfect) and these J Hooks make for cheap rifle storage. I cut small pieces of 1/2" foam pipe insulation to slide on them for finish protection too...
  18. Lookey what I found for my GP100 6"

I love drop leg holsters. Allows me to strap my pecker to my leg so it don't slap around too much
  19. 12.5" AR in 7.62 (308)?

    I have a 16" M1A SOCOM and its loud enough....can't imagine a 12.5" !!!
