    A BAR anniversary addition I bought from Barrows several years ago. It still isn’t near what many here have spent but all total was around 1800 including scope. Did take my best buck with it 👍

    Taking it back to the 60’s and 70’s today in the stand.

    I hunted many hours out of homemade baker style stands. I would probably kill myself now trying to turn around and sit down in one now. 😆. In the 70s just seeing a single deer track here was exciting

    I had an SKS returned. I had sold rifle years earlier. It was still in my name. Was in evidence for about 10 years and once it was cleared got a letter from PD that I could come and get it. So I did and was easy. Can’t remember now but was small dept. riverdale, hapeville.

    Similarly here. My favorite was the Winchester 150 gr silver tips. In nearly 50 years I have lost a couple of deer. I do however like the ruger I got in 450bm because of the weight and compactness of the rifle

    I have been a 30:06 fan most of my days. Got a BAR that’s great and taken my best ever with. I hunted last year with a ruger ranch in 450 BM and may be my new go to. Took a nice buck with it. It’s very accurate, short, lightweight and quick target acquisition

  17. Cheap (inexpensive) guns you just love

    I’ve got an Armineous , not sure on spelling that I bought for 25. Dollars in the 70s. It’s da22 lr with 6” barrel. It’s has sent countless carpenter bees to their deaths. Definitely my favorite cheap gun
