Still hunting in a thicket with a trusted Marlin and peep,stoked with core-loks in your best wool and plaid on a drizzly afternoon.........Well it just dont get anymore 60's than that.Some hunters are missing out on just how much FUN!!!!!!,it really is.

You are spot on,back in the 60's thru early 80's deef in the north Ga. mtns,were scarce.We got it good now.I remember getting excited just to find some fresh sign,and tracks back then when scouting

I remember back in ‘83 seeing deer in food plots near Moccasin Creek that flows in to lake Burton. It was so rare to see a deer back in late 70’s early 80’s!

I hunted many hours out of homemade baker style stands. I would probably kill myself now trying to turn around and sit down in one now. . In the 70s just seeing a single deer track here was exciting
