  1. Seekins Havak Pro Hunter PH2

I have seen those mentioned but thought they expired many months ago?
  2. Seekins Havak Pro Hunter PH2

Thanks, maybe a used one will pop up so I don’t loose too much if I don’t like it. I plan to put a brake on it for the recoil although I think it will end up being 9.5 to 10.5 lb when complete.
  3. Seekins Havak Pro Hunter PH2

Are there any stocking dealers in NE Ga? I’m considering one of these in 300WM but would love to feel the stock and action first.
  4. Accidents

Yep, this is normal for most floating firing pin rifles.
  5. Always have your eye pro on!!!

Yes, it’s common. The book max can and does change. Certain guns can take a charge way over book max.
  6. Shield arms S15 mags...not for carry?

I have and carry a G48. I use the factory mags and don’t have any plans to change that. I’d carry a G19 of G17 if I wanted 15/17 and a fighting sized gun.
  7. Always have your eye pro on!!!

This one almost eyeballed that guy!
  8. UPDATE ~ Volquartsen Accurizing Kit for Ruger Mark IV 22/45

Since no one else has replied... I don’t have any of these parts but have installed a lot of triggers and parts on other platforms. I’m assuming there isn’t anything in the directions about enlarging this hole or doing something to the sear? If not, stop and call Volquartsen. If you modify...
  9. Let’s See Some NV/Thermal Setups

What are the limitations of a helmet mounted PVS14 and rifle mounted laser? Is a 100 yard hit on a stationary coyote easy, hard or unlikely? Is this setup best for tactical use only?
  10. Gen 5 G17 MOS question?

I run Dawson’s on my DPP pistols but they are competition focused. I know they can put tritium in their sights if you’re interested. Also, don’t discount fiber optic sights if you’ve never used them. They are easy to pick up and don’t fade like tritium.
  11. How to properly polish a Colt pistol

You should think ahead! Now you aren’t going to have a front sight unless you tape or glue it back on! You could have just drilled a hole in the tumbler for the barrel to poke through, sealed with chalk and tumbled that way. You could have then stuck just the barrel in from the top and did...
  12. What is the Blue Label price on a Glock?

I bought my last one through the Outdoor Depot in Gainesville. I’m a GSSF member and they don’t charge extra like Ed’s.
  13. Hearing protection

Can comment on those specifically but I love having Bluetooth in my ear pro. It’s nice to be able to take a call or listen to music.
  14. Colt Delta Elite 10mm grip Question

Definitely aftermarket. You can buy just the medallions or grips with them glued in on Ebay. I’m not sure why the didn’t make them in the correct black color.
  15. Looking for a good red dot for someone with a stigmatism

If you are having that severe of a problem with astigmatism then I would skip directly to a low power variable scope. A bright illuminated model like the Burris MTAC or XTR II works 99% as good as a RDS on 1x and much better at distance. Weight is the only downside of a LPV for a general...
  16. Bullseye gun range on fire.

I seriously doubt they can afford renovation.
  17. Help picking a 1911

Keep in mind that “normal” 1911’s won’t usually fit holsters for the Sigs unless it is from the classic line. It’s something to consider if you won’t stop at 1 pistol. I came very close to buying a classic match elite in .40 a couple years ago for USPSA SS.
  18. Help picking a 1911

What are your wants? Beavertail? Safety size? Grip style? Checkering? It’s much easier and cheaper to buy what you want the first time and on the factory gun if possible.
  19. Looking for set of sights for Glock 34 Gen 4 MOS

I figured someone else would answer by now but I guess not. I’d buy Dawson Precision fiber optic sights for your pistol. Personally, if you plan to put on a red dot then I’d buy their sights for your specific red dot sight although I guess you could always change them later. They also make...
  20. Gone, thank you ODT

I was a bit surprised when I calculated the FPS of the ~200 MPH speed of a falling bullet. 300 FPS is roughly 40% of what my target loads do at the muzzle of my 5” 1911. Evidently, I underestimated how fast 200 MPH is relative to bullet speeds.
