Guys lee is the way Bill pronounces it.
  2. Magnum research 22 Mag not the carbon fiber barrel

  3. Magnum research 22 Mag not the carbon fiber barrel

    You didn't get me one?
  4. Gifted two beautiful weapons from my father.

Blue book of gun values says $5500 in 100% condition if it is a Superposed grade 1 1960-1972 manufacture. Earlier version were only available in 12 or 20 ga.
  5. Gifted two beautiful weapons from my father.

3-5 thousand on the rifle depending on whether it is a grad III or grade IV. If it has scroll engraving it is grade III, animal engraving is grade IV. Those are based on 100% condition. I am not sure on the shotgun as there were many different models made. Need to narrow it down more to figure...
  6. Gifted two beautiful weapons from my father.

Does the rifle have a silver receiver? Any engraving? Also, a little more info on the shotgun would help such as model number.
  7. CLOSE THIS

100% agree with you. I even take dealership stickers or tags off my vehicles.
  8. Classic wheel gun porn....

My newest acquisition, 1972 (first year production) 150 series ruger Security Six (low back). Pretty close to perfect condition.
  9. Shooting a 380 cartridge in a 9mm pistol

A 9mm cartridge (9X19) projectile is .355" in diameter, oddly enough the .380 (9X17) is .355" diameter. 9mm Makarov (9X18)is .365" diameter. The case wall of the .380 is thinner than the 9mm.
  10. Shooting a 380 cartridge in a 9mm pistol

Nothing really dangerous about it. Problem is, rimless cartridges head space on the end of the case so, maybe the cartridge gets pushed a little deep and the firing pin won't set off the primer or maybe the extractor holds it in place and it shoots just fine. I wouldn't think twice about doing...
  11. PSA is the bestest

I pretty much thought everything they served was the worst food I had ever eaten.
  12. PSA is the bestest

Negative. I can buy them directly from Schmidt for $29 last I checked.
  13. PSA is the bestest

SOLGW sells the exact same trigger under the name "fighting trigger", made by Schmidt Industries. ALG also has one called the Advanced Combat Trigger, same thing.
  14. PSA is the bestest

My opinion, they are about on par with Anderson which is just above Bear Creek.
  15. PSA is the bestest

Oh, I have had parts missing from parts kits but I hardly classify that as a problem with their firearms. It is a problem with employees not putting the right parts in the bag and it happens with most any company that I have dealt with, which is quite a few BTW. There are very few if any...
  16. Smith and wesson prelock error gun possible

I would say no but anything is possible. I have a Model 36-1 that is hard chrome with target sights. The seller swore it was stainless but it isn't. I should have returned it but I like it regardless of what it is.
  17. PSA is the bestest

Lets don't forget the dreaded Taurus.
  18. PSA is the bestest

I know that you know that. I was saying that I don't know what kind of service one would get from retail customer service since I have never dealt with them.
  19. PSA is the bestest

I generally try to stay out of these stupid arguments but I am going to say this much. PSA absolutely is the best in it's price range. It is as good as or better than Smith and Wesson M&P, Ruger, Delton, Bushmaster, ATI, Windham, Anderson, Bear Creek, Radical and a whole host of others. They are...
  20. PSA is the bestest

Yes, and John who has been there since the beginning but they are dealer sales reps and not CS reps.
