    Oh I totally dismiss theme due to their country of origin. There are things that we can’t avoid buying a Chinese made product, but a knife is certainly not one of them.

    I own both or at least I did until I traded my MT UT for a second infidel. I hated the Glass break and side action on the MT more than anything. The infidel action is certainly not as stout as the microtech, but it never fails to fire and I hated the microtech so much I never carried it.

    I liked my UTX-85 and I liked my UT even more. I REALLY liked @Leatherhead's custom CT he let me check out. That said, I hate the clip on the MT's and the glass break. Both play hell on the back of my hands, my pants and anything else they get in contact with.

    I have a cap on almost everything I buy. I generally don't pay more than 500 for a can, (most were around 200 or less) 400 for a Glock and 150 for a knife. Don't see how I will allow myself to spend more on a knife than I have spent on my EDC or 90% of my NFA items for that matter.
