Real benchmade infidel?

Received it as a gift. Someone said it looked fake because the markings on a YouTube video didn't match up with the knife. It also only weighed 4 ounces according to his scale.

But I've seen infidels with different markings than the one in this video that passed as real benchmades. That's the entire point of my post lol

I don't know what to tell you Skippy. Why not contact Benchmade?

Contact BM if you have concerns, but if the person purchased it from a knife store I would say its legit.

If I send it to them. When they send it back the closest dealer is over 2 hours away

Looks legit to me. Screws are right, jimping is right. Weight is about right, too. Should weigh close to 5oz, so 4 and change would be in the ball park.

I'm thinking his scale was off because it was old and raggedy. Thank you for the helpful response

Markings on the clip look fake. Don’t know enough to comment about anything else.

I just know my two legit infidels the writing in the clip is nowhere near that bolt and clear.

Can you send them pictures? I don’t know if they would be willing to verify from pictures.
You mention shipping to them but the nearest dealer being a distance from you. Do they only return ship to a dealer?
The knife doesn’t look like a safe queen. I would use it and enjoy it and remember the gesture of the gift each time I did.
