probably cheaper to buy aftermarket bars that mount how you want them. Factory bars are usually cheapish and may not be easily modified. Most of the factory ones I have dealt would be time consuming and expensive to modify.
In a former life I put down 2000 pounds of sand (I had it delivered by dump truck), spread it and leveled it, packed it and the assembled an above ground pool for my ex wife.
