    probably cheaper to buy aftermarket bars that mount how you want them. Factory bars are usually cheapish and may not be easily modified. Most of the factory ones I have dealt would be time consuming and expensive to modify.
  5. Update in OP- Jay Ramirez came through. Pool is now up and ground is level.

    In a former life I put down 2000 pounds of sand (I had it delivered by dump truck), spread it and leveled it, packed it and the assembled an above ground pool for my ex wife. It wasnt a day long job then and I know what it was gonna cost to have it done....thats why I did it myself!

    thats more than 8 hours worth of work...and I do more work on accident everyday than most do on purpose...so no it aint about being scared of work and I didnt see you volunteer either
