  1. "Eventually" sure seems to be taking a long time.

I think you are up there near the power center these days. It is along the same line as drag queen story hour, network news, the Cia,, and no bible at school. That should help.
  2. Oil dilution in Honda 1.5l engines

If I had this issue, then I'd try a dexos rated oil. It does not seem to make sense, but...
  3. Finally got my new Bronco, who else?

It's neat and all, but, I don't get it. Which is fine. They seem small and way too much money for what they are bordering on obscenity. I'll stick with my sequoia and k2500 suburban. Does it seat 6?
  4. Replace a transmission on 8 year old Yukon for $5800?

Just in case the memo didn't make it around....don't tow in overdrive.
  5. Just got this 1968 Suburban and wondering does decent LS swaps at a reasonable price?

That is sick. 454 for the win! (JL Audio 15's)
  6. Emissions help: Readiness Test Failed?

The 10 dollar code reader at Walmart will tell you the readiness state.
  7. 06 5.4 triton broken plug

That sucks. From the looks of it, somebody "fed it the beans." I've never even seen one. That is about the dumbest **** I've seen. How is that not going to get stuck in there?
  8. Fuel problems with 1983 C10 w/ 350 and dual tanks

I like the other ideas. Have you tried it with the gas caps off?
  9. Need advice on transmission swap 1987 Chevy truck

I hunted down the brackets and rods between the motor mounts and the bellhousing before I sold the one I had. I noticed the empty bolt holes and had to figure out what was missing.
  10. Tinkering with a lawnmower, need help (Troybuilt Pony)

I'd start with a new belt. If the spring has travel and would not interfere with a slightly smaller belt, then I'd compare the existing belt with the replacement before modifying anything to fit a stretched or wrong belt. If the belt is too tight, you will wear out your bearings. I'd think a...
  11. Need advice on transmission swap 1987 Chevy truck

I guess kids are just mean. I'll try to repress that memory. Things you learn when you are 8...
  12. Need advice on transmission swap 1987 Chevy truck

I keep seeing "power band" in relation to a 4 stroke. Am I crazy? You would be run out of town, but, not before your crucifixion for suggesting that a gas burning truck has a "power band" when I was coming up. And I've been accused of being "from the city."
  13. Need advice on transmission swap 1987 Chevy truck

I'm not much help, but, I'd start looking in this direction. https://www.moderndriveline.com/shop/bell-housings-accessories/gm-bell-housings/oem-gm-bell-housings/gm-sb-bb-621-aluminum-bellhousing-4-speed-bolt-pattern/...
  14. What would you do about a blown engine

How long was it run with it knocking? I had a guy put new rod bearings in my 4.3 for $250 and it has been lightly used several times a week for around 3 years or more now. I parked it as soon as it started.
  15. Can I get more HP out of my Safari Van

I'd never own one due to crash tests. I had goid luck with the BG 3 part fuel injection cleaner on my 4.3. A shop would have to do it, preferably one that already sells BG. The shop local to me that sells BG doesn't stock the 3 part deal.
  16. To Save Gas, What Would You Do?

Our card does all the fraud calculations. I don't have to submit receipts. Just put five in and get five out into a can later. Just tell the boss the situation and see if they would have a problem with it. If you let people in the door, then you are already in the "circle of trust,"
  17. A new line of vehicles, from Canoo. Who...?

It seems like it would be like commanding a starship. The windshield looks like it is 6 feet away.
  18. What’s it worth, 1978 Chevy Stepside 4x4

I don't think you would find another one for less than 4k. Short bed step side 4x4 that is all one color.
