Good point. Annealing will definitely allow it to resize easier and cause it to be more consistent with neck tension. I anneal every firing with an AMP Annealer.
Try resizing again. You should be able set the die up high so it only sizes the neck. Not sure which gauge you are using and don't have experience with those specific dies you have but if it were me I have had best results from using a Redding Type-S full length sizing die with appropriate neck...
Results are a function of speed and quality. You can hand chamfer all your cases with a jewelers glasses if you really wanted. Giraud is repeatable quality with speed.
I only get notifications from midway on things that don't sell out quickly. My guess is that the job that runs on the system every 10min or whatever doesn't have a chance to even run before a bot or someone sees them in stock and notifies everyone in their community about it and the items sells...
Avoid Proof unless it is in stock at your vendor. Had to wait 8mo for an order I placed in April for a blank. Frank at Bartlein is great and so are their barrels. Have heard they are investigating doing AR barrels.
The frankford arsenal hand deprimer works great. Worth the money. If you do small primer you may need to sand down the pin a bit thinner. I have decaped thousands with one then threw them in the franford tumbler to get them nice and clean.
