I got a Custom Classic in the 90's. I've got at least a couple thousand rounds through it. I've never had a problem or a malfunction with it. I can't speak to any of the later models.

If I buy a Springfield Echelon or one of the other pistols that uses the fire control group as the serialized part, I should be able to have both a long frame and a short frame pistol if I get the right parts correct?
