@mrauditor : if you have not changed the PCV valve in that truck in a while, you may want to do that. It’s cheap, usually easy to change. The PCV allows the engine to “breath” so to speak… it helps keep one from building pressure up in the engine and blowing out seals, etc., PCV = Positive... -

Pull them and see if you have any fouling . That would be my first step, (as a professional mechanic) -

Valve guide seals may POSSIBLY be seeping down some overnight. Very little probably. Then it sits in the combustion chamber and burns when you fire up in the AM. Have you pulled any plugs ? Inspect ? -

It’s hard when you’re not actually there to see/hear and have hands on. You can try smacking the starter while someone turns it over if you think the starter is bad. But my advice would be have someone that knows look at it. Sorry I couldn’t help ! :noidea: -

Did u try to wiggle gear shift ? Are you getting any kind of “click” when attempting to crank ? As in starter solenoid hitting? Does dash light up when turning it on ? Can you hear the starter attempt to engage ? (All this is simple stuff) -

Yep…they sound amazing for sure. Being a mechanic and working on autos/trucks/etc., for over 40yrs……I am really interested in this stuff. ( I just wish I could get in one but I doubt that is going to happen anytime soon, lol ) Definitely awesome ! 🤩 -

Yep, I went through the BFG Radial T/A craze in the 80’s ….. like $600/set , give or take. What really flipped my lid was the Dunlop GT qualifiers for the street bikes ….. $200-300 a tire ! “Had to have them “ lol
