1/2/24, my Son’s first coyote.
Sako 85S .308, 150gr Barnes TTSX (we were deer hunting) 30 cal can
140 yard shot. The pelt is being tanned for the wall.

250 yard poke, hit in the boiler room…. she ran 50 yards and expired.
She weighed 29#

I was surprised how heavy those barreled actions are for their size.

That's a big yote! I don't suppose you got a weight on him, did you?

I was surprised how heavy those barreled actions are for their size.

This one isn’t that bad with a 16.5” barrel and a B&C stock. To me, it feels lighter than my AR Carbine.

No Sir, I didn’t think to weigh it. I will see if I can dig out my scale and get one for you.
Surprisingly enough, it’s a female and her pelt is absolutely gorgeous! Still thinking about what I am going to do with her, either a pelt or a mount.
