Been burning all week so far about 600 acres got about 300 more to be done.
Anybody else trying to get thru before the turkeys start nesting these biologists now days want you to wait until it starts greening up I think that’s to late in sw ga.

Breaks are going in next week. Probably try to burn around 200ac before the nesting hopefuly. Its tough to get it it all lined up around us. The dozer was supposed to do it today. Its greening up.

I agree USFS been burning into May but they don’t care about Wildlife because they making big $$$ doing these burns. Because anytime they on site of controlled burn or wildfire they getting hazardous duty pay . I know some who making real big money going on fire duty out west. Payed 24 - 7 whether on fire line are not.
