For ageing eyes and no need to spend $30 ordering a fiber optic that will break on the first draw from the holster. This way is always bright, and unbreakable.

Pretty darn dark sight. Terrible for fast use, dark days, dark targets or just to use.

Center punch the aluminum sight.

Drill a divot ¹/16 and then ⁵/64. Deep as ya want.

Bottom of bead shows at bottom of groove, top of blade is then top of rear sight.

Easy peasy to do. Easier to see. Can't break. Free.

Leave the divot silver or fill with your favorite color goo.
