Zastava M808 in .300 Win Mag information

Theres a NIB Zastava 808 in .243 on GB for $550. I've been keeping an eye out for a Zastava M85 in 22-250 for awhile now, it's their mini-mauser. Had one before, loved it. Had their M70 in 7mm Rem Mag years ago and really liked that too.

Welll…damn it man…the guy just backed out. Pretty disappointed. He pm me this morning as he was getting it ready to ship out and he left it on the back of his truck and accidentally ran it over.
I'd say his internal septic tank is overflowing with that response.

Ok…this is crazy. Turns out the gun did fall off the back of a truck. Zastava warrantied it. Replaced the stock, cut and recrowned the barrel, and cerakoted it. I ended up buying it this week from the same guy.

Guy is selling one for $500. Thought it was a really cool design. When I think zastava I think AKs and M76s.
Some Zastava bolt action rifles were being imported before. One of the them was a M70, which used a Mauser-esque action. The stock design and recoil pad combo could be a little bit brutal. They're commonly mistaken for CZ rifles, even in the classified ads here. Interarms Mark X rifles were Zastava and so were the Remington 798/799. That's my understanding at least. Pretty neat rifles if the price is right.
