This Brit loves trucks wanted one for years but could not afford one, finally bought a 2010 Chevy Silverado two years ago only to discover it had some serious engine/piston (burning oil) issues - fix would have been new pistons or engine. As you can imagine I am no longer enamored with GM (still nervous about Ford), which is why I voted for Tundra and Titan (still don't have a replacement truck, lost $7k with the sale of my Silverado). :-(

You could have repaired it for far less than $7K.

My 2009 F150 supercrew. Just put a new engine in her....looking forward to many more years of not having a car payment.

I would like to do that to my 2018. What did the kit with wheels and tires set you back? Where did you have it done?

* Readylift, Leveling Kit - 2.5" Front Leveling Kit with Track Bar Relocation Bracket - $430 + Installation
* Fuel, 20 x 9 +2 Offset $1,400 + Installation

* Tires, Nitto Terra Grapplers 35 x 12.5 x 20 About $300 to $350 each + Mounting and Balancing

I ordered everything online and had a trusted and reputable place do the work
So total about $3,200 plus any Installation, Front End Alignment with Headlight Adjustment, Mounting, and Balancing costs in your area.

Also the Front Valance was changed out for a 2WD one that I ordered directly from Ford. You can do that yourself. It's much shorter and if you are going off-road you won't have to remove it for good clearance.

Hope that helps.

Nice, thank you

My ODT find, '86 F150 Stepside, 300 inline 6 w/factory 4 speed in the floor. After a little work, she's running great, now onto getting the factory AC back up and running. 115k actual miles, I love how it turns heads even though I'm not a flashy type person!

Update: AC is working great now, blowing 28 degree air! This truck just got a lot more fun to drive lol!!
