Well, not really but he is still my Buddy! :becky:

My Daughter took the boys camping in Talladega Natl forest this weekend.

Yes that’s graffiti on those rocks in the background.
I’d have to injure someone if I caught them doing that crap.

So Ranger the shep mix really didn’t need trained he just one of those dogs that gets it and learns it right away.
I taught him hand signals in one day.
When he hikes in front of the pack he constantly scans the tree line, and looks back to check on the group.
If anyone or any pet starts lagging behind he Trotts back to check on them and paces them back to the group.
He’s the only dog I’ve ever seen tree a groundhog.
She said some coyotes were howling around 4:30 am like usual and they were all in the tent and Ranger was at high ready looking out the fly with a deep growl ready to defend.
Love that dog.
He’s also the only dog that I’ve seen that comes to the edge of a cliff and looks out with the rest of the humans and studies the beauty.
He’s also the only dog that I ever seen look up the the stars in amazement .
She said he was watching the creek flow in amazement yesterday.
Love that dog.
