If I had to make a guess based on my observations in Augusta, I would think she wanted to be compensated with a free meal and/or gas money.

The scam I have seen is to get your food and leave, return later without the food and claim something was bad or missing, demand refund and cause a scene, trying to obstruct business from taking place in the hopes they will give money. No refund policy without returning food? Fine, but you have to pay me for the gas at least. Scream and yell and block customers to add pressure. I'd think some businesses deal with this almost every day and I can't understand how scammers think it will keep working. Not sure that's what happened here, but I have seen it several times.
