Need, RT Tech Level II in Cumming 3rd shift (possibly 1st or 2nd also) / American BOA
Short version of Job description
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
â¢Selects Products at various stages of the manufacturing process, and tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, and Leak Tightness.
â¢Interfaces with Manufacturing, Quality and Process Engineering Staff as needed on interpretation of Customer and Internal Engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
â¢Main QA function would be to performs Radiographs using X Ray tube and automatic film processor on materials ranging from .006 SS to 1 ½â thick Carbon and Stainless steels.
â¢Must be capable to set up, film and develop X Rays and as a Level II interpret the film as to acceptability by the referenced code on the drawings.
â¢Performs all other functions of Quality Control Technician(s) as assigned.
â¢Completion of various inspections and measurement of products, tools, and equipment as needed to satisfy Control Plans and Work Requests.
â¢Responsible to aid in the conformance to Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Level II certified ASNT, SNT-TC-1A RT Technician Level II
High School or equal as required for a Level II RT tech.
Experience in metalworking, RT of weldments, forming,
PT certification would also be a plus but is not required.
Having a valid CWI certification would be a plus, but not required.
