My grandfather was a WWII Navy Vet who served in the Pacific. I was given his flag, medals, and a k-bar style knife and sheath. I was just wondering if this is an actual military knife and if there's a place I can get a replacement sheath since the strap is broken and one snap missing.

I have one like it that my dad had, he was in Korea (and first part of Nam). He never gave me any background about it but it was in some of his military stuff.

I just saw this knife with sheath at the Jonesboro Gun Show. The old gentlemen had 3 he said they were Korean War era but he was not sure. I thought that they looked like AF Pilot survival knives.
