Dude. I immediately thought of "The Birds" upon seeing your post. Many members may not have the age to understand exactly.

Hitchcock movies were good no doubt, but not as scary as some made them made out to be.

This one though, scared the hell out of me. Much more than Psycho. And that was a fairly scary movie at the time.

A few years ago, we had several hundred buzzards roost on the ridge we live on up here in the mountains. It was surreal listening to them henpeck one another and constantly hopping from limb to limb and fussing with each other as darkness set in. It was downright spooky. Next morning they started stirring and were sunning (by spreading their wings out on the branches) until 10am and then they proceeded to soar above the house towards Unicoi Gap on the thermals and zoom back to our ridge in Nacoochee and then repeat for several hours - hundreds of Turkey Buzzards soaring. Unbelievable!!!

Some years back a friend of mine lived in an upscale area. Buzzards took over and the HOA tried to get animal control to remove them. They even sent out a letter to inform the residents of their disappointment on their failure. seems you can't legally remove them no matter how many ar at your McMansion. Personally he thought the efforts were hilarious.

Prolly waiting for the thermals to build up to give them the updraft to keep them aloft with minimal effort.
