Hunters unknowingly kill a sacred Spirit Animal.

Apparently these guys were hunting in Nova Scotia and popped a "sacred white moose". After posting the pics on Facebook the crap hit the fan....

Hell no. If I saw something that looked that strikingly different from anything else on 4 legs, I'd take the shot with a camera. But, I'm something of a bleeding heart.

I'm not much of a bleeding heart but I agree with this, use a camera.

It's a genetically inferior animal and needs to removed from the gene pool. Yes, in general I have zero problems shooting an albino game animal. The whole "ooohhh, it's so pretty don't shoot it" is... well.... nevermind. Having said that, if I knew it was such a big deal to the locals, probably not. I'm not big into defecating in someone's kitchen. Story says there were unaware of the significance to the local indengenous. Stuff happens. Animals aren't people, despite the gross distortions by many.
