wife wants to take up bow hunting

as the title suggests, my wife wants to take up bow hunting. I can fake pretty much anything that sends a projectile (that sounds dirty) but have no experience whatsover in the area of archery. Some questions
1) Where can she take a course to learn the basics
2) Equipment suggestion

Any pro shops will set her up give her a brief tutorial on form, aiming, technique and then practice, practice, practice, I use 12 point archery in Social Circle and Steve is very patient and helpful with newbies
