Why does it seem it's so hard to trade a good bow on here for a good rifle? all answers welcome

Guns have an infinite life. Trading one for anything 'disposable', even if it's useful life is several years, is difficult... at least to me.

You see i'm actually willing to get rid of my bow just so i can get my dad an army ranger veteran a new rifle

^^^ this. b/c the gun will last a long, long time and hold it's value compared to the bow. I had a guy on here want me to trade him a gun for a chainsaw, all i could do was just laugh.
