Why i like corroded ammo with fuzzy white growth

Chuck it up in a drill, and hold a red scotch brite pad on it while spinning drill.

Nice...just make sure the chuck is tight enough or you might be "slinging lead" a different way! Thanks for the tip!

hehe yep........also finds loose projectiles/bad crimps. i hit it with steel wool after the pad

couldn't it be tumbled in walnut or cob or would that be a possible AD, bullet nose to primer?

Clever method. Imma have to try that on some of my old ww2 ammo. I just wish it was that easy to remove the white growth I came back from LasVagas with a month ago.

Guys remember this, corrosion may weaken the brass and the removal of it could be removing brass that is containing an explosion.

I have heard that it would be extremely dangerous as that would degrade the powder "pellets" and make it burn in a completely different way.
"Faster" is what the guy who told me said, as in way hotter and higher pressures.

plausible depending on time tumbled......ive shot tumbled ammo.....there was no difference. I broke a round or two down and the only differnence was the grains were shinier but not broken down at all.
