I'm going to have to respecfully disagree. It's not exactly Texas style as I used some tomatoes w/ green chilis, but it is more traditional than most as I didn't use chili powder. I actually used 5 different dried chilies for the base.

Dang it, I should have made some venison chili but just stoked up the wood stove.

Another beef brisket chili on the stove right now. I had vacuum sealed some of the leftover brisket a couple of weeks ago and decided it would be a good day for it too. Looks like a lot of the same ingredients as yours 81433AD
