Hi, we have Sling as well as Netflix. Good service for both. Like others have stated you must have a good internet connection for optimum viewing. The main issue is you can't record the shows like Walking dead. No DVR with Sling.

Who uses Sling TV and or Roku ?

I don't know if they still do it but I signed up for 6 months of Sling and got a free ROKU Stick. I've also found returned ROKU sticks for half price on Amazon.
I had an issue with video stopping and buffering when I first got it but it was an easy fix. Turn down the HD settings to 720 and everything works fine.
The stick only runs on the 2.4 the channel and not the 5ghz channel on WiFi.
I have Sling with HBO, Netflix, Hulu and HBO Go so my kids can watch HBO when I am.
History channel comes with Sling and is part of the ROKU channel set which is important because Vikings.
